We are looking for aspirational talent willing to break through boundaries with their creativity and skill. Exciting opportunities await for experienced architects, detail ninjas as well as those ready to launch into registration, finally being able to call themselves an Architect!
In an attempt to round up the troops (challenging with creative types!) we have gathered especially for our team call-out for new Liminals to join us!
Liminal Studio is one of the 30 founding signatories of Architects Declare Australia and embraces a transdisciplinary design approach driven by the purpose, function and meaning of ideas-based design.

We are seeking:
Position 01:
An experienced registered architect with aspirations to lead who will:
- Be aspirational and understand what it takes to lead.
- Strive for excellence and always seek the best outcome rather than the easiest.
- Be a conceptual thinker with outstanding design, documentation and leadership skills.
- Be curious, perceptive and inspired by other design disciplines.
- Understand the benefits of collaboration and have an open mindset.

- Have exceptional communication skills.
- Have demonstrated experience running projects as a Project Architect with the ability to resolve and coordinate complex outcomes, work with flair and lead documentation teams, with rigour and to deadline.
- Technically, have fine-tuned documentation skills, an eye for detail and extensive knowledge of 3D modelling, documentation and presentation software – competency in ArchiCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite a must; SketchUp, Rhino desirable.
- Have ten years' experience as a registered architect and will be registered in Australia.
- Already have a visa to enable working in Australia for at least 4 years if you are not an Australian citizen.
Position 02:
An experienced architectural technician or documenter who is a detailing and ArchiCAD ninja! You will:
- Have a refined sensibility and enjoy problem-solving with flair.
- Have an open mindset, be curious, passionate and adventurous.
- Be a master construction detailer who can follow through with the design intent in documentation development, pushing the design to the next cohesive level.
- In your natural state, think outside the square.
- Be an excellent communicator, supportive and active team-member and will embrace collaboration.
- Value beauty, creativity, excellence, generosity, integrity, leadership, passion and success.
- Technically, have fine-tuned documentation skills, an eye for detail and extensive knowledge of 3D modelling and documentation software – competency in ArchiCAD a must.
- Have a minimum of ten years' experience.
- Already have a visa to enable working in Australia for at least 4 years if you are not an Australian citizen.
Position 03:
A graduate of architecture with a minimum of 3 years experience (post graduation). You will:
- Be curious and have diverse interests that inform your thinking.
- Be a clear communicator.
- Be able to take direction, be proactive and give inspiration.
- Love to research and strive to learn something new every day.
- Value beauty, creativity, excellence, generosity, integrity, leadership, passion and success
- Know that problems exist to be solved, and through initiative and rigour, can get results.
- Salivate at the prospect of not just collaborating within a team, but energising it.
- Technically, be off to a flying start with documentation, have an envious graphic eye, possess advanced 3D modelling skills and you’ll be super-confident in Sketchup, Rhino, ArchiCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite
